Architect Alexandru M. Zagoritz was active at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. His works are in the Neo-Romanian style. He was a good draughtsman, and he published in Arhitectura magazine in 1916. As an architect, he had a promising early career and was part of the team of architects which worked at the setup of the Jubilee Exhibition in 1906, organized on Filaretului Hill, the future Carol I Park. He collaborated with Ion Mincu, and after the latter’s death in 1912, he continued the restoration works at Stavropoleos Church. In his brief life, Alexandru Zagoritz was a contributor of Arhitectura magazine and Buletinul Comisiei Monumentelor Istorice. In Arhitectura magazine, no. 2/1916, Alexandru Zagoritz published a portrait of architect Ion Mincu.
He died in 1916, during World War I.
